Barbarism
“Barbarism”是一个名词，主要有两个含义：

Learning about the barbarism of ancient times in history class was difficult. It’s hard to understand how people could treat each other so cruelly. But it also made me appreciate how far we’ve come as a society, even though we still have work to do.
