Concoct
Concoct 是一个动词。它可以指在厨房里把各种食材混合在一起，更常指在脑子里编造一个复杂的谎言。
- He concocted an elaborate story to explain why he was late. (他编造了一个复杂的故事来解释他为什么迟到。)
