Covet
Covet 是一个动词。它强调的是一种强烈的、往往是不正当的欲望，想要得到别人已经拥有的东西。
- He has long coveted his neighbor’s beautiful garden. (他长期以来一直觊觎邻居美丽的花园。)
- She won the coveted prize for the best young actress. (她赢得了人人觊觎的最佳年轻女演员奖。)

记：Cov-et。发音类似“渴望它”。深深地渴望得到别人的东西。或者记：Cover (覆盖)。想把别人的东西“盖上”变成自己的。
